GSP Rescues
German Shorthaired Pointers are occasionally in need of being re-homed. These dogs captured the hearts of the owners when they were puppies but changes in family or job status, relocation and changes in priorities of owners necessitate finding the dog a new “Forever” home. This process is usually overseen by a group of dedicated volunteers who evaluate both the dog and new home to determine if the dog and new home are a good match. Frequently, rescue volunteers will foster dogs in their homes during the evaluation process to assure the temperament and sometimes health of the dog.
